About me

Ben Sky

I work with a wide variety of businesses throughout the UK, providing bespoke design for web and print, brand identities, ecommerce and CMS solutions. My background and qualifications are in design, I have a BA Hons degree in Graphic Design from the University of Leeds and I’ve been building websites for the past 9 years.

I’m a genuine, down to earth and caring individual who will set out to provide you with only the best. I’m a perfectionist by nature, this is clearly manifested in my work and the way I do business.

For me client satisfaction is paramount, my pleasure comes from seeing a smile on my clients faces because they are over the moon with the work I’ve produced.

I provide a very personal service, I like to spend time getting to know my clients business allowing a higher understanding of their goals and requirements to help pave the way to great business relationships.

My service

I’m a full time freelance designer, I work from an office in my home, I have minimal overheads and I don’t have any staff to pay, this makes my service affordable and accessible.

I will:
  • Give non bias advice for free
  • Listen to your requirements and ideas
  • Advise on what options will be best for you, not me
  • Present options to save you money
  • Ask what your budget is and explain the best way to use it
  • Go the extra mile to ensure your satisfaction
I will not:
  • Make promises that cannot be delivered
  • Cut corners to save time
  • Sell you something you don’t need
  • Disappear after your project is finished
  • Take on half finished projects
  • Tender for work or attend speculative or trivial meetings
  • Become involved in a bidding war for work

Lucy works along side me on the majority of my projects to help deal with the workload and to keep turnaround time on projects quick. She shares my values of providing a top notch, personal service to customers, she's very enthusiastic and she's a fantastic addition to my business. Here's a few words from her:

" I am a passionate designer-developer, with a life-long love for all things design, and the latest technologies and trends within the web world. I also have (a some say unhealthy) obsession with paper and ink, and all areas of printed graphics.
